DUSHANBE, April 2, Asia-Plus — Issues related to further expansion of financial cooperation between Tajikistan and the United States were a focus of a meeting of Finance Minister Safarali Najmuddinov with visiting representatives from the US Department of Treasury that was held in Dushanbe on March 31, Asia-Plus has learned from Bobojon Gulahmadov, and aide to the finance minister.
According to him, in the course of the talks the sides discussed prospects of further expansion of economic and financial cooperation between Tajikistan and the United States, as well as technical assistance to Tajikistan.
