Parliamentary elections were held in Kyrgyzstan on Sunday, October 4. The CEC processed nearly 2 million votes. According to preliminary results, “Birimdik” and “Mekenim Kyrgyzstan” are in the lead. President's brother Asylbek Jeenbekov is running for “Birimdik”, and Iskender is running for “Mekenim Kyrgyzstan”, reports Kloop.kg
The CEC announced the preliminary results of yesterday's parliamentary elections. “Birimdik” (24.9%), “Mekenim Kyrgyzstan” (24.29%), “Kyrgyzstan” (8.89%) and “Butun Kyrgyzstan” (7.2%) are preliminarily elected to parliament.
The “Mekenchil” party gained 6.95% – preliminary, they lack 0.05% to overcome the electoral threshold.
