Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the government of Turkmenistan to take all possible measures to prevent A/H1N1 influenza from entering Turkmenistan.
“The sanitary and epidemiological service of Turkmenistan has all necessary facilities and modern equipment for that,” the head of state said.
The ministry of health and medical industry was instructed to “run a public awareness campaign through the local media to educate the people about methods of prevention of the dangerous infection.
