Majlisi Namoyandagon board considers agenda of last session of outgoing parliament

DUSHANBE, February 22, 2010, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the agenda of the last sitting of the outgoing parliament at a February 22 meeting, presided over by Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board, in particular, discussed amendments to the laws on public service, amnesty to physical and legal entities in connection with legalization of their funds, as well as the civil code.  The board also considered a number of other issues 

According to him, all these issues have been tabled the agenda of the last session of the outgoing parliament that will take place on February 24.
