At least 1.500 Tajik soldiers will take part in the forthcoming military parade dedicated to the 67th anniversary of Victory in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.
Related preparations for the parade are taking place in the Dushanbe Victory park, Tajik Ministry of Defense told AP. The parade, in which soldiers and officers of the Dushanbe garrison, National Guards and students from military colleges of Tajikistan and border troops will take part, will take place in the Victory park.
Tajik Defense Minister Colonel General Sherali Hairulloev will take the parade. Chief of the Dushanbe garrison, commander of Tajik Defense Ministry’s mobile troops, Major General Latif Faiziev will command over the parade.
Traditionally, veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War and members of their families will be invited to the parade.
