Dushanbe. December 10. Asia-Plus — Tajik delegation headed by the Tajik Prime Minister Aqil Aqilov will take part in a regular session of the interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) at the level of heads of governments scheduled for tomorrow in St. Petersburg.
Session participants will discuss 17 issues, including the problem of development of trade and economic cooperation between EurAsEC member states, the formation of the customs union in the frameworks of the Community, the President’s Office reported.
“The list of issues will also include the process of implementation of the anticrisis plan called to overcome the consequences of the global financial crisis,” the source said, adding that session participants are also planned to discuss the fundamental principles of the currency policy for regulation and control of operations connected with the movement of capital.
“Session attendants will also consider the draft concept of food security, innovation of biotechnologies and other issues,” the source reported.
