DUSHANBE, February 2, 2012, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday February 1, Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdulmajid Dostiyev met in Moscow with his Jordanian counterpart Ahmad Sata’an Al Hassan.

According to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) was a major topic of the meeting.

Abdulmajid Dostiyev extended to Ahmad Sata’an Al Hassan an official invitation from Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rasoul to Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh to attend RECCA V, the source said.   

The Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan that will take place at the level of foreign and economy ministers in Dushanbe from March 26-27 this year is an important process to stir economic growth and development in Afghanistan.  Representatives from more than 70 countries have been invited to attend the conference.
