Tajik Foreign Minister to meet with CIS colleagues today

The meeting of CIS foreign ministers will be held in the form of video conferencing

The next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS member states in the form of video conferencing will be chaired by the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov.

In addition to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the Chairman of the Executive Committee and Executive Secretary of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev, will take part in its work., the information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The meeting provides for the exchange of views on pressing issues of the international agenda and interaction in the format of the Commonwealth, discussion on the implementation of the Plan of multilevel inter-MFA consultations within the CIS for 2019 and the Plan for 2020, as well as ways to jointly counteract the spread of coronavirus.

Following the meeting, it is planned to sign a number of documents.
