Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are discussing mutual exchange of electric energy, the Energy Minister of Kazakhstan said.
The minister also reminded that Uzbekistan plans to withdraw from the joint energy system of Central Asia and in this regard Kazakhstan is negotiating with Kyrgyzstan the way of solving this situation.
“We will supply Kyrgyzstan with electricity in winter, while Kyrgyzstan will return this amount in spring and summer with additional water supply for our southern parts,” the Energy Minister said.
“This question is not solved yet, but we hope to solve it in nearest future,” the Minister said.
