Kyrgyzstan’s real gross domestic product (GDP) reached 16.6 percent in January 2010, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance reported.
According to the Ministry, the nominal volume of Kyrgyzstan’s GDP will form at the level of 12.3 million soms.
The real growth of the economy hit by 8.5 per cent mostly due to the industrial development rate (by 77.7 per cent), construction rate (by 37.2 per cent), agriculture sector (by 2 per cent), services industries (by 1.7 per cent).
Therewith, the industrial development rate increased by 2.6 times with the help of Kumtor mining company. Kyrgyz production output growth was traced in all sectors of industry: in the mining sector by 1.8 per cent, while processing industry and energy sector grew by 97.5 and 30.6 percent respectively.
Gross output of agriculture and forestry sectors hit 3 billion 467.9 million soms.
Services industries real growth decline hit by 1.7 per cent. The investment’s rate in the basic capital reached (19.7 percent increase). In money terms, capital investments hit 811.2 million soms for the year.
