50 other trolleybuses to arrive in Tajik capital by end of first quarter

, January 11, Asia-Plus – 50 other new trolleybuses, US$58,000 each, will arrive in

by the end of the first quarter of the year,

-Plus has learned at the “Dushanbegorpastrans” (

passenger transport service).

“These trolleybuses are the final stage of the implementation of an agreement that was concluded between the Dushanbe mayor’s office and the Russian trolleybus-manufacturing plant “TrolZa” last year,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said, adding that the first bulk numbering 50 trolleybuses had arrived in the Tajik capital by the end of 2005.  

At present, these trolleybuses are running on the routes ## 1 and 2 in

We will recall that US$5.80 million have been provided from the city budget for purchasing 100 trolleybuses from


Russia
