QURGHON TEPPA, January 12, Asia-Plus – Officers of the Qurghon Teppa transportation police directorate have warded off an attempt by drug pushers to transport four kilograms of heroin to the

The Qurghon Teppa transportation police directorate deputy chief Muzaffar Boymatov, has told Asia-Plus that at midnight of January 11, their officers detained two persons who were trying to hide four kilograms of heroin in the cellar of one of carriages of the train Kulob-Moscow that was being prepared for the first route.  The detainees proved to be resident of Rudaki District and their names are not disclosed in the interest of investigation, the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.    Criminal proceedings have been instituted on drug trafficking charges.
