DUSHANBE, August 23, 2011, Asia-Plus — A mild tremor measuring 3.0 on a 12-point scale jolted Dushanbe Monday night, at 9:24 pm, the Geophysical Service at the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan reports.
Centered in Tajikistan, some 73 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe, the quake could be felt in some other regions of Tajikistan as well.
In the epicenter, magnitude of the earthquake was 4.0 on the 12-point scale, the source said, adding that no injured or damage was reported.
