In south Tajikistan the disaster caused damage to 25 households destroying one oil and gas well.
Yesterday, April 10, heavy rainfalls caused Surkhob and Obi Mazor Rivers to overflow their banks and flooding 25 households in Kuhinabajuvon and Kaltachanor villages of Baljuvan region, Tajik Emergency Committee under the Government told the AP.
Furthermore, the source said that the disaster caused severe damage to the #94 oil and gas well and a series of nearby buildings.
Currently emergency experts are working at the scene. The overall damage caused by the disaster is being now estimated, the committee said stressing that no victims are reported.
The same day, April 10, heavy rainfalls caused mudslide in Hissar region which blocked local roads in Arbobi, Kipchok, Changobi, Haidi villages. “The consequences of the disaster have been eliminated for now, roads are opened again,” the source has said.
