DUSHANBE, December 4, 2013, Asia-Plus — On December 3, President Emamali Rahman, made some changes in the country”s police structure.
According to the President”s press service, based on Government”s decision, Nourillah Aripov, is dismissed as First Deputy of Interior Minister, two other Interior Minister deputies, Sherali Sabzov and Said Jourakhanov, were dismissed as well.
Major-General Abdurahman Buzmakov, previously the Head of Dushanbe Police Department, is appointed as the First Deputy of Interior Minister. Ikram Umarov is appointed as Deputy Interior Minister.
As agreed with President Rahman, Mr. Jourakhanov will head the Dushanbe Police Department now, while Mr. Sabzov will head the Transport Directorate of the Interior Ministry.
Fayzulla Nazimov appointed as the Head of Badakhshan Province Police Department. Rustam Sharifov appointed as the Head of Rasht Valley Police. Muhammadshah Iskandarov appointed as the Head of Tursunzade Police Department. Tahirjan Narmatov is appointed as Tajikistan”s Interior Ministry Representative in the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre.
