Three men have been arrested in Dushanbe on suspicion of committing a large-scale robbery.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, unidentified people in masks on October 14 attacked Ilhomjon Qurbonov, a director of Oli Somon Limited Liability Company, and grabbed 406,000 U.S. dollars and 1.1 million somoni that were in Qurbonov’s Lexus RX-350.
Three men — Daler Shamsiddinov, 36, Shavkat Ergashev, 38, and Abdulamon Dostov, 28 – have been arrested on suspicion of committing this crime.
1.123 million somoni and 136,000 U.S. dollars have been confiscated from them.
Two other men – Firouz Azizov, 29, and Bodur Ismatov, 32 – are wanted by police. Police are offering a reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Azizov and Ismatov.
