DUSHANBE, June 7, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda held talks with Chinese Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun here on June 5.
According to the Tajik Interior Ministry press center, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in combating transnational crime, terrorism, extremism and separatism.
In the course of the talks, the two reportedly noted that only joint efforts could yield efficient results in combating the mentioned challenge and threats.
Rahimzoda and Guo signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Interior Ministry of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Public Security of China and an agreement on providing no-strings technical aid to the Interior Ministry of Tajikistan, the Tajik Interior Ministry press center reports.
