Tajik MFA urges Tajikistanis staying in Ukraine to keep calm and stay at home wherever possible

The Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan has appealed to citizens of the country staying in Ukraine and urged them to comply with the instructions of the operational staffs, keep calm and stay at home wherever possible.

“In connection with martial law imposed by the authorities of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 throughout the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan appeals to citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan with a request to strictly observe instructions of the operational staffs, keep calm and stay at home wherever possible,” says a statement posted on the Tajik MFA’s official website said.     

The statement notes that in case of problems in the territory of Ukraine, citizens of Tajikistan can contact the hotline of the Tajik Embassy in Kiev: +38093361040.  

A representative of the Tajik MFA told Asia-Plus that they are currently specifying the number of our citizens living in Ukraine and in which cities they live.
