President’s son-in-law relieved of his post of fist deputy head of NBT due to a transfer to other job

By president’s decree issued on June 10 Jamoliddin Nouraliyev was relieved of his post of First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) due a transfer to another job.

Jamoliddin Nouraliyev had served as First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan since 2015. 

Prior to this he had served as First Deputy Minister of Finance (2010-2015).

In 2007 — 2010, Nouraliyev served as Deputy Minister of Finance.   

January 2007 – September 2007, he served as Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank Group.

August 2004 – January 2007 – Nouraliyev served as Adviser to the Executive Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF).  

November 2001 – August 2004 – Nouraliyev served as Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank.   He represented Republic of Tajikistan in the Swiss Executive Director’s Office (EDO). 

Jamoliddin Nouraliyev was born on October 10, 1977. 

In 1999, he graduated from the Tajik State University of Commerce.   

2004-2005 – University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC);  Master Degree in Business Administration.

2006-2007 — University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC);  Master Degree in Finance Science.

2007 — University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC);  Graduate Certificate – Financial management in Organizations. 

Jamoliddin Nouraliyev is married to the president's daughter Ozoda Rahmon, who has headed President’s Executive Office since 2016.
