Selected works of known Tajik scientist brought out in Dushanbe

 

DUSHANBE, February 13, Asia-Plus  — Selected scientific works know Tajik researcher and selectionist Ghulom Aliyev has been brought out in Dushanbe.

This book published under support of Tajikistan’s National Academy of Sciences, Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural University and Research Institute for Cattle-breeding is dedicated to the 90

th

birthday of academician Aliyev.  

According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, materials included in the collection are research works written by Aliyev in the different periods of his life.  “The majority of his work are dedicated to the sector, which is traditional for Central Asia – cattle breeding,” the source said.  

We will recall that celebrations to mark the 90

th

birthday of Ghulom Aliyev were held in Dushanbe in December last year and despite his old age, the researcher, who was rector of Tajikistan’s Agricultural University two terms, continues taking an active part in the university’s life.
