More than 13,000 new families registered in Tajikistan in January-March 06: justice ministry

Tajikistan


over the first three months of 2006, Justice Minister Khalifabobo Homidov told journalists on April 24.

At the same time, 766 divorces have been registered in the country over the same three-moth period, according to Homidov.  

32,198 birth certificates and more than 8,000 death certificates have been issued in


Tajikistan


in January-March this, according to the minister.   

The Justice Ministry registry department has registered 72,300 documents in the first quarter of the year.  

“In January-March 2006, the country’s budget has received more than 92,000 Somonis (equivalent to US$28,680) from activities of the registry offices in the country,” Homidov said.
