Tajik cultural center set up in Nizhny Novgorod

DUSHANBE, August 18, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A regional public association entitled Tajikistan Cultural Center “Dusti-Druzhba (Friendship)” has been set up in Nizhny Novgorod, the capital of Russia’s Volga Federal District, according to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.

The organization, which is part of the Union of Tajiks in Russia, has published the first issue of the newspaper
