DUSHANBE, August 19, 2009, Asia-Plus — A two-day meeting of the passenger service commission at the CIS council for rail transport ended in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Tatarstan Republic on August 18.
According to the CIS Executive Committee, coordination of interaction between railway administrations of the CIS states in conducting international passenger carriages was the focus of the meeting.
The meeting participants included representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan as well as Latvia and Estonia.
