DUSHANBE, November 15, 2010, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a protocol on financial cooperation between Tajikistan and France at a November 15 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the meeting participants had noted that ratification of that document would give a new impulse to attraction of French investment for development of Tajikistan’s economy.
The board also discussed amendments to the law on industrial and food waste, the Majlisi Namoyandagon spokesman said.
