DUSHANBE, October 23, 2013, Asia-Plus — On Tuesday October 22, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sharif Said, received South African Ambassador to Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan (with residence in Astana, Kazakhstan), Shirish M. Soni.
According to the CCI press center, Sharif Said informed South African diplomat of natural resources of Tajikistan and priorities of Tajikistan’s economy needing investments. He especially invited South African investments in energy, mechanical engineering, processing industry, construction, pharmaceutics and tourism sectors.
For his art, Ambassador Shirish M. Soni noted that his country was interest in cooperation with Tajikistan in sectors like mining and tourism, the source said.
