DUSHANBE, February 11, 2016, Asia-Plus – Head of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) under the Government of Tajikistan, Rustam Nazarzoda, has received a U.S. delegation comprising representatives of the Department of State, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and U.S. military structures.

Orif Nozimov, a spokesman for CES, says the two sides have discussed issues related to exchange of information, training of personnel for Tajik disaster relief and improvement of professionalism of Tajik rescuers.

According to him, the sides have shown interest in further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
