On Thursday October 6, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muzaffar Huseinzoda, received the Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), Michael Tatham, the Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Michael Tatham, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
UK Ambassador to Tajikistan, Hugh Stanely Philpott, also participated at the meeting.
In the course of the talks, the parties reportedly discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
They also exchanged views on cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom within the international organizations.
