Last night Russian teachers arrived in Dushanbe. They will work in secondary schools in the capital and regions of the country.
Thirty teachers from Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Dagestan, Orenburg, Kemerovo and Kostroma regions arrived in Dushanbe from Moscow last evening . Some of the teachers came to work in the republic together with their families. For almost 26 years of Tajikistan's independence, Russia for the first time sent its teachers on a long trip: Russian teachers will work here for one year.
– I’m a mathematics teacher I came from Dagestan because I decided to change something, but I feel that I will not change much, because the Tajiks are like my people, Tajikistan is also a mountainous region, I understand this mentality very well – Shared with "AP" Fatima Sagidova.
The total length of work of Fatima Dosaevna is 22 years, she taught at secondary schools in Makhachkala. In Tajikistan, Sagidova will work in the capital's gymnasium №5.
– Fears before the arrival of course were, but more associated with the fact that I will live here away from the family. But, I feel that the Tajiks are very warm people and I think we will work well together, "says Sagidova.
In addition to official representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Russian embassy in Tajikistan, Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as heads of schools in which new teachers from Russia will work, they were met by old Dushanbe friends. The fact is that among the arriving teachers there are natives of Tajikistan.
– I was born and grew up in Dushanbe, – says the teacher in computer science Tatyana Svaletskaya. – I graduated from the Tajik State University, began my pedagogical career in the capital’s vocational school № 3. But in connection with the tragic events of the 1990s, our family had to leave the republic in 1993. Since then, I have never been to Dushanbe, although I have close friends here with whom we have maintained close ties for all these years.
According to Svatletskaya, when in Moscow in the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia for teachers prepared a presentation of the republic, many places in the capital, she did not recognize.
– I remember Dushanbe very well, but during the presentation I did not learn much. Dushanbe has always been a very beautiful city, but it seemed to me that it has become even more beautiful – new buildings, new architecture," Svaletskaya said. – Of course, I'm very worried now, but I know that Tajiks are very friendly people, they will always support.
Tatyana Yuryevna. admitted that she was very homesick and when she learned that she can work here, she gladly agreed.
– I want to do something good for my homeland, thank this country for all the good that it once gave me, "she explains. How was it with Firdavsi?"And the sun and storms – all with courage. High word and good deed".
Arriving teachers will teach various disciplines in Tajik schools, such as Russian language, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, computer science. The Tajik side provides them with housing and an average salary in the country – 14,000 rubles. Another 60 thousand rubles will be paid by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, plus it will provide medical insurance.
In addition, in schools in Tajikistan with teaching in Russian for the new academic year, Russia sent a donation of 20 tons of textbooks and teaching aids, this is approximately 52,000 copies of books.
The instruction to send the manuals was signed by the head of the Council of Federation Valentina Matvienko.
In February this year, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, following the talks between the presidents of the two countries, said that Russia intends to build 20 general education schools in Tajikistan, in which classes will be conducted in Russian.
