Chinese President Xi Jinping yesterday sent a message of congratulations to Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of his 65th birthday, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
In his message, Chinese leader, in particular, underlined positive growth of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The message reads, in part:
“Bilateral cooperation between China and Tajikistan has shown an upward trend in recent years. Cooperation has been expanding in sectors like trade, agriculture, creation of the primary infrastructure, security, etc.
Traditional friendship between our countries is strengthening from day to day.”
