Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev yesterday congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his 65th birthday and wished him success in his high and responsible mission, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Kazakh president reportedly underlined Rahmon’s contribution to development of Tajikistan and increase of its authority on international arena.
Tajik leader, for his part, highly appraised Nazarbayev’s contribution to promoting further expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the presidents also discussed a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
