Three brothers from the Kommunizm village in the Panj district of the southern Khatlon province have got lengthy jail terms for brutally killing their fellow-villager.
A court in the Khatlon province sentenced F. Badaliyev to twenty-seven years in prison and his two brothers to twenty-five years in prison each.
The sentence followed their conviction on charges of killing and inflicting serious bodily injuries, a source at the Khatlon regional court told Asia-Plus in an interview. They will serve their terms in a high-security penal colony.
The Badaliyev brothers reportedly severely beat Shonazar Naibov and beat to death his son-in-law Dodarbekov following quarrel over the pasture.
