Tajik capital hosts congress of the CIS Road Authorities

Tajik capital will host a number of events of the road authorities of the CIS member nations this week, namely, a congress of the CIS Road Authorities, a session of the CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road Authorities, and an international scientific-and-practical conference titled “Innovative Technologies for Road Building Sector.” 

All the three events will take place at the National Library of Tajikistan in Dushanbe from November 9 to November 11. 

According to the Secretariat of the  CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road Authorities, the events will bring together about 300 senior representatives of road authorities from the CIS nations and other countries, including ministers of transport and heads of road administrations as well as public administrations dealing with road maintenance issues and researchers from the CSI nations and other countries to discuss national reports of the road administrations of the CIS nations as well as issues related to the results of work carried out by the road authorities in the past years.
