Tajik ambassador visits Uzbek foreign ministry to discuss border issues

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Sodiq Imomi yesterday visited the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan to discuss cooperation issues, according to the Uzbek MFA’s website.

During a meeting with high-ranking Uzbek MFA officials it was reportedly noted that relationships between the two countries had changed for better in a short space of time.  

The sides, in particular, discussed issues related to organization of the next meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission for demarcation and delimitation of mutual border.

The commission has already held three working meetings this year.
