Tajikistan has offered sympathy to Russia over a deadly plane crash.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon today morning extended condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the crash of a passenger plane near the Russian capital, which claimed the lives of all the 71 people on board, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

In his message of condolences, Emomali Rahmon, in particular, said he felt deep sadness about the Russian airplane that crashed with 71 people aboard in Moscow oblast.

Tajik leader also asked to convey his deep condolences to families and relatives of those killed in that plane crash.

Recall, a Russian airliner crashed Sunday afternoon after leaving Moscow's Domodedovo airport, killing all 65 passengers and six crew on board.

The Saratov Airlines jet vanished minutes after take-off and crashed near the village of Argunovo, about 80 kilometers southeast of Moscow.

The Antonov An-148 was en route to the city of Orsk.  Pieces of wreckage and bodies were found spread over a large area.  One of the flight recorders has been recovered.

Russia officials say they are considering weather conditions, human error and technical failure as possible causes.  They did not mention the possibility of terrorism.
