Residents of demolished residential buildings make complaints against real estate development company

Date:

Residents of three demolished apartment buildings have made complaints against the real estate development company Muhammad 2009, which has failed to complete construction of a multi-story apartment building in time, and they have practically been left tout on the street.  Residents of the demolished residential buildings have applied to the Dushanbe mayor’s office.

ИЗОБРАЖЕНИЕ

Residents of the demolished apartment buildings yesterday met with the first deputy mayor.  They told him that Muhammad 2009 had failed to complete construction of a multi-story apartment building on the Bukhoro Street.  According to them, the money that the real estate development company provides to them is not enough to rent housing and many of them have practically been left out on the street.

Their residential buildings on the Bukhoro and Istaravshan streets were reportedly demolished in 2015 and the company promised to build the multistory apartment building for residents of those residential buildings by July 2017 but it failed.

Recall, it is not the first complaint made against Muhammad 2009.  People invested in construction of an apartment building on the Shevchenko Street last year made complaints against construction companies Muhammad 2009 and Muhammad 2014 that had deceived them.

The owners of the Muhammad 2009 and Muhammad 2014 companies are the Qurbonov brothers Zafar, Nusratullo and Hokim.  After the article entitled “Chorniye zastroyshchiki ili kak obmanuli lyudey v Dushanbe” (‘Black’ Builders or How They Deceived People in Dushanbe) was published in newspaper “Asia-Plus” last year one of the brothers was taken under custody and even criminal proceedings were instituted against him.  However, he was released after several months.
