Tajikistan and Russia have reportedly worked out a government-to-government agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism. The draft agreement is currently under consideration by the Russian side.
Issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russian in the area of tourism were discussed here today at a meeting of Numon Abdughafforoda, the head of the Tourism Development Agency under the Government of Tajikistan, with Mikhail Korablin, Russia’s Trade Representative in Tajikistan.
The two expressed confidence that the agreement on tourism cooperation will promote increase in inbound tourist flows and further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between tour agencies of the two countries, according to the Tourism Development Agency press center.
Tajikistan today can offer nationals of the Russian Federation ecotourism, hunting tourism, mountain tourism and recreational tourism.
