A young woman from Khatlon’s Farkhor district has reportedly beaten her elderly husband to death. 

The Interior Ministry’s website reports the body of the 75-year-old man with signs of violent death was found in his home in the Gulshan village, Farkhor district in Khatlon province on June 4. 

His 31-year-old wife, who has previous conviction for killing her newborn baby, has been detained on suspicion of committing that crime.  

She reportedly beat her elderly husband to death following family quarrel.
