Last month, inflation rate in Tajikistan reportedly stood at 0.6 percent

In May, inflation rate in Tajikistan stood at 0.6 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

Meanwhile, the inflation rate for the first five months of this year has been estimated at 0.4 percent.  This is due to the two-month deflation process that was interrupted in April.  

The inflation rate for Tajikistan for the 12 months ended May 2018 is estimated at 1.7 percent, as published on June 14, 2018 by Tajik central bank.

Recall, Tajikistan’s year-end inflation for 2017 has been estimated at 6.7 percent.

Tajik central bank had previously forecast that the year-end inflation for last year would to stand at 7.0 percent.
