Dushanbe police have seized 120 kilograms of precursors.  Three persons have been arrested on suspicion of trafficking in precursors.

Two residents of Sughd’s Bobojon-Ghafouov district – Muhammadjon Muhammedov and Komiljon Khalilov – as well as driver for hire Ilhomiddin Khairiddinov were detained in Dushanbe on September 2 while trying to sell 120 kilograms of anhydride acid acetate, says the Interior Ministry’s website.

Anhydride acid acetate is on Tajikistan’s national list of psychotropic substances and precursors, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained persons and an investigation is under way.
