IBT opens its new head office in Dushanbe

The International Bank of Tajikistan (IBT) has opened its new head office in Dushanbe.  The official opening ceremony that took place on November 9 was attended by senior representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), IBT’s customers and partners and other dignitaries, according to the IBT press center.  

The new head office of the International Bank of Tajikistan is located not far from the Customs Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.  

The Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) “International Bank of Tajikistan” was established in February 2016 as the microfinance organization “Standart Moliya” (Standard Finance) was upgraded into a commercial bank.

The bank’s stakeholders reportedly include a private company and a group of nationals of Tajikistan. 

The International Bank of Tajikistan, with headquarters in Dushanbe, now has eight branches and five banking service centers in several cities and districts across the country.  More than 250 people work for the bank.

According to the IBT press center, the IBT offers all types of financial services, including lending, Internet banking, money transfer services, opening and servicing of credit and debit cards, as well as currency exchange transactions.

The IBT is reportedly principal and associate member of the international payment systems such as Visa International, UnionPay, Zolotaya Korona, Kontakt (Contact) and Korti Milli (National Card).
