The number deputy governors of Sughd province increase from three to five

The number of deputy governors of the northern province of Sughd has increased from three to five.

President Emomali Rahmon has recently given consent to appointment of two new deputy governors of Sughd.  One of them will be in charge for agrarian sector and another one will be in charge for the region’s law enforcement structures.  

The newly appointed deputy governor of Sughd, Bahovaddin Tourakhonzoda, 43, will be in charge for the law enforcement structures.  

Tourakhonzoda had previously served as head of the Sughd justice directorate

The newly appointed deputy governor of Sughd, Rustam Karimzoda, 47, will be in charge for the province’s agrarian sector.

Graduate of Moldovan Agricultural University, Karimzoda had previously served as the first deputy head of the Sughd agriculture directorate.
