Two earth tremors could be felt in Tajik capital today morning

Two earth tremors at intervals of nine minutes jolted Tajik capital today morning. 

According to the data from the Geophysics Service of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, two earth tremors measuring 2.0 and 3.0-4.0 on a 12-point scale respectively could be felt in Dushanbe today morning at 6:26 am and 06:35 am.

The first 3.0 magnitude tremor was centered in the territory of Vahdat Township 22 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe and the second 4.0 magnitude tremor was also centered in the territory of Vahdat Township 19 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe.

No damage or injured was reported, according to the Emergencies Committee under the Government of Tajikistan. 

The mountainous Tajikistan is prone to regular natural disasters, including landslides and earthquakes.
