The Government has endorsed the plan of actions on implementation a 300-day entrepreneurship support program.
The government decree on approving the mentioned plan of action was issued on March 1, 2019.
The ministries and agencies are ordered to ensure the implementation of the planned events.
The State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property (GosKomInvest) is obligated to report quarterly on the process of the implementation of the plan.
In all, 30 various activities will be carried out in three areas this year to support the country’s business community.
Thus, it is planned to extend the participation of entrepreneurs in tenders for making public procurements.
The program also provides for reducing the tax burden on representatives of the private sector and improving the country’s economic legislation.
Besides, the document provides for improvement of the country’s legislation regulating activities of entrepreneurial enterprises. Thus, it is planned to work out a law on special industrial zones and make amendments aimed at providing additional benefits to industrial production facilities and exporters.
It is also planned to work out the public private partnership development program for 2019-2024 and the national strategy on raising entrepreneurs’ financial literacy.
The initiative is also provides for reforming the country’s permit system and reduce the number of permit documents from 74 to 56.
Besides, the number of inspections of business will be reduced by 10 percent.
It is also planned to speed up development of the public-private dialogue and attraction of investments.
An interactive portal will be launched provide exchange of commercial proposals between entrepreneurs and investors.
It is also planned to organize the so-called “green corridors” for exporters of the agricultural goods on the customs border.
The program titled “300 Days of Reforms to Support Entrepreneurship and Improve Investment Climate” has reportedly been initiated by President Emomali Rahmon
