Emomali Rahmon inaugurates new flagpoles in northern Tajikistan

The working visit of President Emomali Rahmon to the northern Sughd province is expected to last until April 3.  

Emomali Rahmon’s working visit to cities and districts of northern is going on and the head of state will stay in the province until April 3, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

On weekends, Emomali Rahmon reportedly inaugurated two 50-meter flagpoles in the city of Guliston (formerly Qairoqqum) and Bobojon-Ghafourov district. 

While in Guliston, the head of state also inaugurated a kindergarten and attended an official opening ceremony of a fitting-producing enterprise “Mahmoud and Co.”

In Bobojon-Ghafourov district, the head of state reportedly inaugurated district hospital and Palace of Culture.  

Today, Emomali Rahmon is visiting Spitamen district and he has attended an official ceremony of a 50-meter flagpole in the district administrative center.
