President Emomali Rahmon has offered his condolences for the plane crash at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport that killed 41 people.

In a message of condolences released on May 6, President Rahmon, in particular, noted that he was very sorry to hear news about air crash that had left dozens of dead and asked to convey his deepest and sincere condolences to families and relatives of those who died in the crash.

Recall, forty-one people were killed on May 5 after a Russian passenger plane made a fiery emergency landing and burst into flames at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.

The Sukhoi Superjet SSJ100 operated by national airline Aeroflot was carrying 73 passengers and five crew members when it touched down and sped along a runway Sunday evening, with huge flames and black smoke pouring from its fuselage.
