As a result of rainy weather, wholesale prices for these vegetables and fruits have risen significantly in recent days.

Thus, the wholesale price for cucumbers has risen at Dushanbe’s bazaars from 1.80 somoni to 3.00 somoni, with similar price rises in other parts of the country.

So that farmers would be less dependent on weather conditions, international experts recommend that Tajik farmers make shift to growing vegetables and fruits in film greenhouses.
