Russian “Snow Leopard” climber Vasiliy Drozdov has died in Tajikistan mountains.
dvinanews.ru says the member of the Tyumen Climbing and Mountaineering Federation Vasiliy Drozdov died on July 29 while ascending to Bodkhon Mount in the Gissar-Alay Range area.
In this ascent, Drozdov reportedly participated together with mountaineers Dmitry Chernyshev (Arkhangelsk), Dmitry Shpilev (Arkhangelsk) and Mikhail Nosenko (Severodvinsk).
