Tajikistan intends to bring GDP to 87 billion somoni next year

This year, the gross domestic product of the republic should amount to 78.2 billion somoni.

The development of the draft law of Tajikistan "On the state budget for 2020" is being finalized, said a source in the economic bloc of the government of the republic.

The growth of the country's total GDP next year will amount to 87.3 billion somoni, which is 7.4% more than in 2019.

The country's GDP growth in 2017 amounted to 4.7%, in 2018 – 5%.

According to the source, the developers of the project believe that the deficit of the state budget of Tajikistan for 2020 will amount to 350 million somoni, which is 0.4% of total GDP.
