In August, three rounds of the major league of Tajikistan were played, as well as the games 1/8 and 1/4 finals of the Cup of the country.
The jury named the 26-year-old halfback of Dushanbe “Istiqlol” Alisher Jalilov, who was three times recognized as the best player of the matches, as the best player of the past month.
The laurels of the best coach of the month went to the new head coach of the capital's CSKA Pamir, Ukrainian specialist Sergey Zhitsky, under whose leadership the army team won three consecutive victories in the Tajik championship in August and climbed to fifth place in the standings, the official website of the FFT reports.
