Faroz Company expected to build international car terminals in northern Tajikistan

Land plots of three farming units totaling nearly 14 hectares will be given to Faroz Company for construction of those terminals.

Land plots in three districts have been allotted to Faroz Company for construction of international car terminals in three districts of the northern Sughd province.  

In accordance with government’s decree issued on August 30, 4.99 hectares (4.65 hectares of them are irrigated lands) of farming unit named after Suyarqul Nishonov in the Panjakent district, 4 hectares (3.53 hectares of them are irrigated gardens) of “Rano Sobirova” farming unit and commercial cooperative society named after Fakhriddin Nouriddinov in the Isfara district and 5 hectares of “Abumuslim” farming unit in the Mastchoh district are given to the Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Faroz for indefinite use without the right of alienation.

The mentioned farming units will receive equivalent plots and Faroz will pay little more than 2.1 million somoni (equivalent to 215,000 U.S. dollars) to recover losses relating from withdrawal of farmlands from agricultural product circulation.   

Founded in 2008, CJSC Faroz is a highly diversified company having interests in various areas, including pharmaceuticals, banking and fuel distribution.  Headquartered in Dushanbe, the company has branches in all large cities and districts of Tajikistan and outside it.
